Project Description and Other Comments

I'm looking for a metal collar (preferably aluminum, but steel would be OK) to use as an adapter to fit at tapered (1.5-1.125") fork into a a 1.5" straight headtube. I haven't found a commercially available headset adapter that will work, since the frame has an integrated headset (older cannondale). What I have in mind is a fairly simple collar that will interface with the fork steerer tube and the inside of the existing integrated bearing. I have a design mocked up (link below), but would be happy to chat/modify it if you have suggestions.

Thanks in advance!
